Terms of Service

By accessing or using HashedMax Unity Pool ("the Pool", "we", "us", "our"), including connecting mining hardware to our stratum servers, accessing our website, or using our API, you ("User", "Miner", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree to these terms, you must immediately discontinue use of all Pool services.

HashedMax Unity Pool operates as a non-custodial mining pool. We temporarily hold mining proceeds solely for operational distribution purposes and do not provide wallet, custody, or financial services.

All balances are paid out according to the thresholds defined in Section 4 below. We are operational infrastructure, not a custodian of funds. Users retain full ownership of their mining rewards at all times.

We cannot economically process transactions below Bitcoin network fee minimums. By using this service, you acknowledge and accept the payout thresholds and timing outlined in these terms.

Pool Fee: 2% of all block rewards and transaction fees

This fee covers operational costs including server infrastructure, bandwidth, development, and support. The fee is deducted from block rewards before distribution to miners.

Network Transaction Fees: Bitcoin network transaction fees for payouts are paid by the Pool. However, we reserve the right to adjust payout thresholds if network fee conditions make smaller payouts economically unfeasible.

Payout Thresholds

Primary Threshold: Payouts are automatically processed when your balance reaches 0.001 BTC.

Time-Based Threshold: If your balance has not reached 0.001 BTC, we will automatically process a payout every 90 days for any balance equal to or greater than 0.0001 BTC (~$10 USD at current rates).

Active Miner Exception

Miners who have submitted hashrate (valid shares) within the last 30 days are considered active miners. Active miners' balances continue accruing indefinitely regardless of time elapsed, and are not subject to the 90-day auto-payout unless the balance reaches the thresholds above.

This policy rewards ongoing participants and ensures you're not forced into premature payouts while actively mining.

Inactive Account Notifications

If you have not submitted hashrate for 150 days and have a pending balance, we will attempt to notify you via any contact information provided (if available). You will have 30 days to either:

• Resume mining (submit hashrate), or
• Request a manual payout (subject to minimum thresholds), or
• Update your account preferences

This notification is a courtesy and not a guarantee. It is your responsibility to monitor your account and balance.

Payout Processing

Payouts are processed in batches typically within 24-48 hours of reaching a threshold. Payouts require a minimum of 100 block confirmations on mined blocks before distribution.

All payouts are sent to the Bitcoin address you used to connect to the pool. It is your responsibility to ensure you control this address and can receive payments. We cannot recover funds sent to incorrect or inaccessible addresses.

User-Controlled Options

We may offer options in the future to allow miners to set custom payout thresholds (within our operational ranges) or opt into alternative payout methods. These features are not guaranteed and will be announced if implemented.

PPLNS (Pay Per Last N Shares): HashedMax Unity Pool uses the PPLNS reward distribution method.

Under PPLNS, rewards are distributed based on the number of valid shares you contributed during the last N shares before a block is found. This method rewards consistent miners and discourages pool hopping.

Your share of each block reward is proportional to your contribution during the relevant share window. Shares submitted outside this window do not count toward that specific block's reward distribution.

You agree to use the Pool only for legitimate Bitcoin mining purposes. The following activities are strictly prohibited:

• Submitting invalid shares or attempting to manipulate share difficulty
• Denial-of-service attacks or attempts to disrupt Pool operations
• Unauthorized access to Pool systems, databases, or other users' accounts
• Using the Pool to mine cryptocurrencies other than Bitcoin
• Circumventing geographic restrictions or sanctions compliance measures
• Providing false information or impersonating another person or entity
• Any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations

Violation of these terms may result in immediate termination of service, forfeiture of pending balances, and potential legal action.

We strive to provide reliable, uninterrupted service, but we do not guarantee 100% uptime. The Pool may be temporarily unavailable due to:

• Scheduled maintenance
• Emergency repairs or security updates
• Network issues beyond our control
• Force majeure events

We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime in advance, but are not obligated to do so.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

HashedMax Unity Pool, its operators, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Lost profits or mining revenue due to service interruptions
• Loss of data or corrupted statistics
• Hardware damage or increased electricity costs
• Errors in reward calculations or payout processing
• Unauthorized access to your account or mining address
• Changes in Bitcoin network difficulty or block rewards
• Fluctuations in Bitcoin market value

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from use of the Pool shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to the Pool in the 90 days preceding the claim.

USE OF THIS SERVICE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK. The Pool is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

We collect minimal data necessary for Pool operations, including:

• Bitcoin addresses used for mining and payouts
• IP addresses for connection management and security
• Mining statistics (hashrate, shares, worker names)
• Device information (user agent strings from mining software)

We do not collect personally identifiable information beyond what is necessary for service operation. See our Privacy Policy for details.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties except as required by law or to comply with sanctions regulations.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page.

Continued use of the Pool after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. Material changes (such as fee adjustments or payout threshold changes) will be announced via the Pool website and/or contact methods if available.

It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically.

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Pool at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:

• Violation of these Terms of Service
• Suspicious or fraudulent activity
• Connection from a sanctioned jurisdiction
• Excessive resource consumption or abuse

Upon termination, any pending balance meeting the minimum payout threshold (0.0001 BTC) will be paid out to your registered address within 30 days, subject to our ability to process the transaction.

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these terms or use of the Pool shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except where prohibited by law.

You waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.

HashedMax Unity Pool complies with all applicable sanctions laws and regulations, including those administered by the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).

Access to this service is prohibited from the following sanctioned jurisdictions:

Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Russia, Afghanistan, Belarus, Myanmar (Burma), Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Mali, Nicaragua, Somalia, Sudan, South Sudan, Venezuela, and Yemen.

This includes the Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions of Ukraine.

By using any HashedMax Unity Pool services — including the website, API, and mining stratum ports — you represent and warrant that you are not located in, a resident of, or a citizen of any of the above jurisdictions, and that you are not on any U.S. government sanctions list.

We employ IP-based geolocation to enforce these restrictions. Attempts to circumvent these controls (e.g., via VPN or proxy) are a violation of these terms and may result in immediate termination of service and forfeiture of any pending payouts.
